Malayan Declaration of Independence

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, my dearest reader🌹
Barakah day, Barakah life for everybody🥰

Hey guys!! Let together remember the independence we have achieved. As Malaysian, we should know what is happening during our Independence day. You guys are lucky cause here I am writing this for you! Enjoy reading.

The Malayan Declaration of Independence(MalayPemasyhuran Kemerdekaan Tanah Melayu Jawi: ڤمشهوران كمرديكاءن تانه ملايو), was officially proclaimed on 31 August 1957, by Tunku Abdul Rahman, the first Chief Minister of the Federation of Malaya. In a ceremony held at the Merdeka Stadium, the proclamation document was read out at exactly 09:30 a.m. in the presence of thousands of Malayan citizens, Malay Rulers and foreign dignitaries. The proclamation acknowledges the establishment of an independent and democratic Federation of Malaya, which came into effect on the termination of the British protectorate over nine Malay states and the end of British colonial rule in two Straits SettlementsMalacca and Penang. The document of the declaration was signed by Tunku Abdul Rahman, who was appointed as the nation's first Prime Minister. The event is celebrated annually in Malaysia with national day Hari Merdeka.

The date for Federation of Malaya's Independence on 31 August 1957 was determined after Tunku Abdul Rahman, Haji Sulaiman Palestin, Haji Ahmad Badawi, and a number of other UMNO leaders sought the views of Syeikh Abdullah Fahim, a notable Ulama from Kepala Batas, Penang. According to Syeikh Abdullah Fahim, if the British would not grant independence to Malaya on 31 August 1957, the next fitting date should be 31 August 1962. The Saturday 31 August 1957 was referred by Syeikh Abdullah Fahim as am khair atana (عام خير اتانا) in Arabic which means 'Good Year Has Come to Us'. It was confirmed in a February 1956 Alliance rally in Melaka after the Tunku had just arrived from the United Kingdom.

On the night of 30 August 1957, crowds gathered at the Royal Selangor Club Padang in Kuala Lumpur to witness the handover of power from the British. Prime Minister-designate Tunku Abdul Rahman arrived at 11:58 p.m. and joined members of the Alliance Party's youth divisions in observing two minutes of darkness. On the stroke of midnight, the lights were switched back on, and the Union Flag in the square was lowered as the royal anthem God Save The Queen. The new Flag of Malaya was raised as the national anthem Negaraku was played. This was followed by seven chants of "Merdeka" by the crowd. Tunku Abdul Rahman later gave a speech hailing the ceremony as "greatest moment in the life of the Malayan people". Before giving the address to the crowd, he was given a necklace by representatives of the Alliance Party youth in honour of this great occasion in history, with a map of Malaya inscribed on it. The event ended at one in the morning the next day.

On the morning of 31 August 1957, the festivities moved to the newly completed Merdeka Stadium. More than 20,000 people witnessed the ceremony, which began at 9:30 a.m. Those in attendance included rulers of the Malay states, foreign dignitaries, members of the federal cabinet, and citizens. The Queen's representative, the Duke of Gloucester presented Tunku Abdul Rahman with the instrument of independence. Tunku then proceeded to read the declaration, which culminated in the chanting of "Merdeka!" seven times with the crowd joining in. The ceremony continued with the raising of the National Flag of Malaya accompanied by the national anthem being played by a military band and a 21-gun salute, followed by an azan call and a thanksgiving prayer in honour of this great occasion.

UNIQUENESS OF SOCIETY IN MALAYSIA (Orang Asli)

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, my dearest reader🌹
Barakah day, Barakah life for everybody🥰

Hey guys😊 Today's topic quite interesting. As you guys can see my main title is about Orang Asli. What amazing about Orang Asli? okay, I don't want to waste your time. LETS GO!!🚴💨

In Malaysia, we are known as a country that rich in different cultures and customs.  Like other societies, the Orang Asli also have their own culture, customs, language and celebrations. Orang Asli is an entity of Malaysian society that is spread throughout the country on the peninsula except Perlis and Penang. These communities can be categorized into three main groups, Proto-Malay, Senoi and Negrito and there are six Aboriginal tribes for each of the major groups concerned. The tribes are Mendriq, Lanoh, Kensiu, Bateq, Kintaq, Orang Kanaq, Orang Seletar, Temuan, Semelai, Orang Laut, Jahai, Jakun, Jah Hut, Temiar, Mah Meri, Semai, Che Wong and Semoq Beri.

To preserve and maintain the cultural heritage and arts of the Orang Asli so that they are not swallowed up by modernity, the Department of Orang Asli Development (Jakoa) through its 4th director general established the Orang Asli Museum at Kilometer 24, Jalan Pahang Lama Gombak, Gombak, Selangor in 1987. The museum near the Orang Asli village was originally the official residence of former Jakoa Director General before being replaced with a new building at the end of the 6th Malaysia Plan and reopened to the public in 2000.

It was established to collect, record, docement and exhibit the way of life of the Orang Asli past.  In addition to storing historical materials, this museum also takes care of all artifacts or equipment related to the way of life and socio-cultural Orang Asli for future generations to see. Although the location of this museum is quite far from the city of Kuala Lumpur which is about 20 kilometers, it is still the choice of tourists and local visitors to get to know more about the uniqueness of the Orang Asli community in this country.

The two-storey museum houses a collection of artifacts, replicas, photographs and some notes that tell about the life and culture of the Orang Asli community. The exhibition is divided into nine segments involving musical instruments, personal adornment, clothing, sculpture and handicrafts, hunting equipment, wedding customs and beliefs. There is even a corner for Senoi Praaq and an appreciation of the progress of the Orang Asli. Senoi Praaq corner tells the history of the establishment of the Forest Police Force (PPH) which is mostly made up of Orang Asli.  This team was established in 1957 and made a great contribution, especially during the country's emergency facing the communist threat.

Apart from the exhibition, tourists and visitors, especially groups, are also presented with a Sewang performance from the Semai tribe which combines elements of dance and singing. Sewang is held for medical purposes and also includes elements of spirit and ceremony, however it is now reworked for performance and entertainment purposes only.  Dancers will form a circle during the performance and are usually accompanied by the beating of musical instruments such as bamboo beats. This year alone until last October, this museum recorded more than 5,000 foreign tourists and more than 2,000 local visitors.  They are also served traditional foods such as sweet potatoes and yams cooked in bamboo, catfish dishes are also cooked in bamboo and cat mustache leaves.

Enough with the story, here I show to you guys the video and pictures of Orang Asli with their style of life. Enjoy!

The Benefits Of Giving Alms According To Islam

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, my dearest reader🌹
Barakah day, Barakah life for everybody🥰 I hope you guys doing great and in good condition.
Hey guys 💖 So for the second written, I would like to share some general knowledge just to refresh our mind and to help you guys know more better about The Benefits of Giving Alms in Islam. Enjoy your reads and hopes it will be use for the future.

Little you guys know, Islam teaches us alms is not just about giving others who needed by give money, clothes and foods. Alms can be at so much form such as we can give alms by sharing knowledge, helps, smile, make others life easier, and give motivation talk.

Back to our main point of discussion, the benefits give alms. The first benefits give alms is almsgiving can remove all previous sins and mistakes. However, all the sins must be regretted and realized with Taubat Nasuha and promises not to repeat it again.
His Prophet Muhammad S.A.W  said that means: "Charity can remove sin as water extinguishes fire." Hadith Narrated by at-Tirmidzi.

Lets jump to second and third point of benefits almsgiving. Next is by giving alms can also separating yourself from hell fire. The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W  said: "Give alms all of you, because indeed alms is a separating from hell". In addition, even giving alms in small amounts can avoid the fire of hell.  The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W  words again: "Keep yourself away from the fire of hell even just with only (almsgiving) a date (Kurma). The third point is to increase sustenance and wealth. Never worry about running out of sustenance for giving alms to others. Indeed, giving alms will expand and open the door of sustenance to us. The more we give, the more we get. "Will not be poor for a person if he gives alms".

The forth point is extinguish the heat of the grave and get shade in the hereafter. The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W said; "Indeed, the alms will really be able to extinguish the heat of the grave for the occupants, and the believer will be sheltered under the shadow of his alms". Hadith Narrated by at-Tirmidzi. Get shade in the hereafter for those who love to give alms are the ones who will receive the protection of  Allah in the hereafter. However, it must be those who are sincere, that is those who do not announce the gift for the purpose of pointing or ripples. "A person who gives alms with his right hand, then he hides his charity until his left hand does not know what is donated by his right hand". Hadith Narrated by Bukhari.

The last one of the benefits giving alms is strengthening faith and getting closer to Allah SWT. If we give alms with the intention of worshiping for the sake of Allah, our faith in Him will surely increase. By giving alms can also get closer to Allah SWT because Allah SWT love His Servants who give a lot because of Him, not just to show off to others. Give alms also can help us to stay away from being haughty and arrogant. It may occur if we ignore charity. If a person gives alms or often gives to others, he does not belong to the group of arrogant people.

I think that’s all for now. Thank you for your time to read until the end of my written. May Allah bless you guys, Aamiin💖. I end my second posting of “The Benefits of Giving Alms According to Islam” with Wabillahi Taufiq Wal Hidayah Wasalammualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. Barakah day everyone🌹 Sending 💝xoxo! Bye-bye👋
